Through our own effort supplemented by the help given by our collaborators, we have good computing facilities using efficient computer software packages for Static and Dynamic Analysis of multi-storied buildings, Industrial Structures, Shells and Folded Plates of various configurations, Tall Chimneys, T.V. Towers and Hyperbolic Cooling Towers, large Span Bridges and Marine Structures. As we have an extensive library of case studies in all these types of structures, we will be able to offer our services both in pretendering stages as well as subsequent detailed engineering stages.

United Consultants is operational in Chennai since 1971, Mr. Alex Jacob is the Managing Director and Senior Structural Consultant. He earned his Engineering degree from the University of Mysore with first rank and did his M.Tech in Structural Engineering from I.I.T, Madras. Further higher studies in University of Sydney, Australia and has worked with government of Australia as Design Engineer for more than 6 years before setting up office in Chennai. His work has been much appreciated worldwide and he has received many awards. From the American Concrete Institute he has received an award for “Outstanding Concrete Structures of India” and has also won award for the design of Cochin International Airport along with American Architects H.O.K.
